These general terms and conditions apply between Adventure Tours AS (“the company”) and the customer (“the guest”) who enters into an agreement with Adventure Tours AS in accordance with the booking confirmation. The agreement may apply to accommodation, travel, activities, or other individual services. Adventure Tours AS does not sell “package travel” as defined in the Package Travel Act.
1. Company Information

Adventure Tours AS is responsible for all transactions made through the website.
Payment information is processed securely by our partners Bilberry and Nets Online Payment, in accordance with Norwegian law.
2. Use of Sub-Suppliers
Adventure Tours AS normally delivers services directly.
In some cases, Adventure Tours AS may use external suppliers to deliver all or parts of an activity or service.
If a sub-supplier is used, Adventure Tours AS is responsible for forwarding the booking and ensuring the supplier receives payment.
The sub-supplier is fully responsible for:
– the performance of the activity
– safety and equipment
– staffing and permits
– compliance with applicable laws and regulations
3. Scope of the Agreement
Adventure Tours AS is responsible for the guest’s rights under the booking.
The supplier is responsible for the practical performance and quality of the service.
Adventure Tours AS is not liable for any promises or agreements made between the guest and a third party without our knowledge.
Customer data is handled in accordance with Norwegian privacy law. No personal data is sold to third parties.
4. Binding Reservation
A reservation becomes binding once the booking is confirmed and payment is completed.
The guest is responsible for verifying that all booking details are correct.
The guest must provide correct contact information to ensure they receive updates related to the service.
5. Payment
Full payment (100%) is required at the time of booking through www.adventuretours.no
The booking number (e-ticket or printed) must be presented upon arrival.
6. Payment Fees
For international payments, the guest is responsible for any transaction fees incurred in their own country and in Norway.
Adventure Tours AS must receive the full amount stated in NOK in the booking confirmation.
7. Cancellation by the Guest
Cancellations must be made by the guest and will be confirmed in writing by Adventure Tours AS.
7+ days before the activity: 100% refund
6–3 days before the activity: 50% refund
2–0 days before the activity: No refund
Separate cancellation rules apply for agents, tour operators, and third parties booking on behalf of Adventure Tours AS.
Right of Withdrawal (Angrerett)
The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to accommodation, transport, or activity services with a specific date, including all services sold by Adventure Tours AS, cf. Angrerettloven §22(m).
Cancellation fees reflect Adventure Tours AS’s actual and reasonable losses under Norwegian contract law.
8. Insurance
It is strongly recommended that guests have personal travel insurance covering illness, accidents, liability, and loss or damage to belongings.
9. Guest Obligations
The guest must follow all instructions, safety rules, and regulations provided by Adventure Tours AS or the supplier.
Adventure Tours AS or the supplier may terminate the agreement with immediate effect if the guest behaves in a dangerous, illegal, or significantly disruptive manner, or causes damage to other participants, guides, facilities, or surrounding property.
Guests are responsible for familiarizing themselves with any additional rules set by the supplier.
10. Issues During the Activity
Any faults, defects, or issues must be reported immediately to the supplier so that the matter can be resolved on-site whenever possible.
11. Force Majeure (No Refund Obligation)
Adventure Tours AS is not liable for circumstances beyond our control (“force majeure”) which prevent the service from being delivered.
Force majeure includes, but is not limited to:
– adverse weather conditions
– natural events
– government restrictions
In the event of force majeure:
Adventure Tours AS is not obliged to refund any amount paid, as the risk related to external and uncontrollable conditions lies with the guest.
Where possible, the guest will be offered rebooking to another available date or a voucher corresponding to the value of the booking.
Any refund is at the sole discretion of Adventure Tours AS.
This clause is in accordance with Norwegian contract law, including Avtaleloven and the Service Purchase Act.
12. Legal Rights
These terms do not limit any statutory rights the customer may have under Norwegian law.
